"Iona" really is an excellent project Vancouver 27 for someone who would like to complete the refurbishment of this superb ocean going yacht. She was originally built in 1981 by Pheon Yachts Limited. She has already had much important work done on her including a brand new teak laid deck. She has been coppercoated and her hull has been fully refurbished. The job needs completing.

"My husband Shaun was a true craftsman and devoted Vancouver 27 enthusiast; he poured his heart into restoring Iona of the Isles.

His untimely passing following a cardiac arrest in February of this year left his dream unfinished, but his vision lives on.

​

We're seeking someone who shares his dedication to continue the journey Shaun lovingly embarked upon with this boat. We are looking to find Iona a buyer/caretaker who will cherish her as Shaun did. He wanted nothing more than to take Iona for her first sail following restoration and for them to have a long and happy journey on the ocean.

 

Iona is currently based at TLC Boat Repairs in Glan Conwy she is on a hardstanding. She has been stripped, has had a new teak deck, has been copper coated. She has a inboard Bukh DV20me engine "
