Regional Representatives

 

The VYA has Regional Representatives who can be contacted for information, area events and get-togethers. Arranged events will be posted on the VYA Events page.

OTHER AREAS: Any members wishing to act as Regional Representatives for other areas are welcome to do so at any time. Please contact the Association Secretary.

 

Regional Representatives (RRs) - What they are / what they do

 

  • RRs liaise as necessary with the VYA Chairman and Secretary.

  • They provide a focus for local area activity, either solely VYA or with other parties, e.g. Fisher owners; either formal or informal gatherings; with or without boats

  • RRs, or other members in conjunction with RRs, can initiate activities 

  • RRs will endeavour to develop contacts with members in their locality to create activities appropriate to the region and local preferences/desires.

  • RRs will, principally, use the VYA web site and e-mail for announcements and communication with members.

 

For the small minority of members who do not have access to a computer, communication in these cases will be appropriately arranged (snail-mail/telephone) on an ad hoc basis.
