  • Beta 25 engine (675hrs), new stern-gear, PSS seal, Darglow Featherstream prop & rope-cutter, all new fresh-water tanks (2011)

  • Recent survey (2023) valued at £50,000 for insurance purposes, noting “satisfactory structural condition, good cosmetically, very good range of equipment, evidently updated and cared for”.

Seachord is a very well-quipped, safe and comfortable cruiser, surprisingly fast for her size, and easy to handle under both sail and power.

In over 17 years of ownership I’ve sailed 1000s of miles in her, offshore and coastal both sides of the English Channel, largely single-handed but also with crew.  She has been a delight to cruise as well as to progressively renew and upgrade.

Only for sale as now purchasing a larger Vancouver.

Can be viewed lying on her River Hamble mooring (Southampton).
